The Versatile Blogger Award

My thanks go to Eternal Waking Beauties for nominating me for this award. She’s a healer and an expert in all things spiritual and astrological, but also shares music, poems and stories. Check out her site, it makes for a very interesting read.

It’s been a while since my last nomination so it’s humbling that my site is still being recognised by the lovely people of WordPress.

Rules of The Versatile Blogger Award:

  • Thank the bloggers who nominated you and share their site.
  • Nominate at least 10 bloggers (I don’t follow too many people so I’ve only got a solid selection of four people) for the award, provide links to their blogs, and inform them of your nomination.
  • Reveal seven facts about yourself that readers may not know.

A little bit about me:

  1. I don’t like my knees touching when I sleep in the fetal position, so I have to put an extra pillow in between my legs.
  2. I watch and play movies and games that are quite mature (violent, scary, sad), but I also love drag culture, and I’m a massive fan of Ru Paul’s Drag Race. I’m not an artistic person at all, but drag queens are living pieces of art, and I have huge respect for them.
  3. My favourite Drag Race queens are Jinkx Monsoon, Trixie Mattel, and Adore Delano. (Season 9’s ‘Sasha Velour’ is quickly joining the list).
  4. I’m currently studying a Broadcast Journalism degree in Salford near Manchester.
  5. My favourite band is Gorillaz, and I’m seeing them at the end of the year.
  6. When I’m older, I want to have a pet Rottweiler, Boxer, or English Bull Mastiff,  or some variation of the three 🙂
  7. I’m learning German in my second year of uni next year.

And the nominations for Versatile Blogger Award are….

  1. Reactionary Tales – shares anything that comes into her head: tales, experiences, feelings. And they’re usually quite funny.
  2. megaeggz – there’s something about minimalist, juvenile artwork and non-nonsensical poems that are really amusing. Worth a follow for a relaxed internet browse on a rainy day.
  3. The Album – beautifully categorised into his weekly series, The Album showcases his favourite games, TV/film, as well as his ‘Human Hall of Fame’ where landmark celebrities are immortalised in the shrines of western culture.
  4. Grim’s Crypt – although she specialises in the scary and sinister, Grim delivers her pieces in a wide range of forms and styles. Best recommended for lone reading.

Congrats to all the nominations, you all deserve it. Thanks for the good reads, guys. ❤

  1. Aww! Thanks for the nomination 🙂 I watched my first episode ever of Ru Paul’s Drag Race when I was at a friend’s house and Lady Gaga was on the episode and they were fantastic! You are so right when you say they are living art pieces! One day I want to go to a drag show! I watch a lot of mature movies as well. Nothing wrong with that! Most mature video game that I played, because I don’t play as much as my husband, would have to be Resident Evil 5. That game is fuuuuuun!
